Do you have KOTATSU in your home or your room? I don’t have it now…( ■ ；)…and want to buy it, but I have a big problem. Do you know what it is? It’s easy to think about. Yes! My room is too narrow to put it in. Now, I’ll tell you the reason I want it.
Kotatsu is so wonderful item because it is useful on various occasions. First, the charge for electricity is more lower than air conditioner’s. In winter, the charge for electricity is very high, so I must save the other costs. Second, we can do anything on it as have a warm by it. Now, I have small table and I can’t cook on it. If I have kotatsu, I want to cook and eat a hot pot at the table, takoyaki（たこ焼き）,okonomiyaki（お好み焼き） and gyouza（餃子） and so on with many friends. Therefore, kotatsu is so good for winter life.
I have Horigotatsu in a living room.

Your room is too narrow for a kotatsu?!? Are you living in a closet? Maybe you need a larger place to live!
返信削除I don`t like traditional kotatsus because I don`t like sitting on the floor -it:s torture for my back. But the "tall-table-kotatsu" that you told me about sounds great!
btw, my wife just made gyoza on Tuesday night. It was really good. She made it the easy way by taking two wrappers and using them like hamburger buns on the top and bottom (instead of putting the filling into a wrapper and folding it over). It was MUCH easier and just as tasty! Yum!
